This is an interactive course that will be presented Masterclass style. Participants will have the opportunity to perform for the other participants anything they are working on and receive constructive feedback to assist their development. Topics may include, but are not limited to:

Technique; Tone; Articulation/Diction; Phrasing and Expression; Rhythm; Practice processes and suggestions.
 

At the beginning of the course, we will discuss effective ways of delivering supportive, constructive feedback to facilitate development in a safe and positive environment.

This course is designed for singers and instrumentalists with some experience. Suggested levels include Women’s Choir and Choral Ensemble, Silver, Gold and Symphonic concert bands, Wind Orchestra” and Silver and Gold jazz bands.

Participants should note that there will be another offering for members with more advanced experience and that enrollment may require combining these classes. Experience suggests that varied levels in a course can work very well. Registrants will be notified if this is a case and if the time changes as a result.
