Music Directors Jeff Hiley Jeff Hiley is currently the Director of Music at A.E. Cross Jr. High. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree (Jazz Studies/Secondary Education) from the University of Calgary in conjunction with Jacksonville State University (Alabama) and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. As a saxophonist Jeff is an active performer and clinician with more than a 100 local and international performances every year. Most recently Jeff participated in the Montreal Jazz Festival with the Afro-Cuban group Masacote and a 12 country tour of Europe with the Dino Martinis, one of Calgary's most popular jump blues bands. In his career he has performed with many other professional groups artists including the Wednesday Night Big Band, Prime Time Big Band, Ken Watters, Amos Garret, and the Mocking Shadows. Jeff has also enjoyed being a staff member of the Calgary Stampede Show Band and Central Memorial High School Music Department as well as a guest Director with numerous Calgary community music organizations.
