Westwinds today is the result of the dedication,
musical leadership and adult education abilities of our
Music Directors. Each band and choir is directed by one
or more professionals with degrees in music and
education, plus many years as educators in our secondary
school systems. As well, our Music Directors are
accomplished musicians, involved throughout the Province
as guest conductors, accompanists, clinicians,
instrumentalists and vocalists. Their high calibre of
leadership provides the best possible program of
progressive development, enabling members to learn and
grow. Our Music Directors are truly bringing lifelong
learning to the adult community in Calgary.
